 2009  
 February

Received our Charter having been sponsored by Marble Falls Noon Lions Club.

 April

Charter Night and Silent Auction at Lakehouse Café.  Raised $2,800 and began our club with 35 members.

 July 4

4th July Parade at Spicewood Community Center

 September

Sponsored our 1st Destruction Derby Car, volunteered to help Spicewood VFD at the Derby   and gave away Bass Boat in 1st Raffle

 October

Participated in Chili Cook off with Spicewood Arts Society

  • 5 of our members' properties were damaged (structures, smoke damage, property burned); 1 member is a Fire Fighter with Spicewood VFD
  • Volunteers at Spicewood Community Center, Grace Outreach
  • Volunteers on Long Term Relief Committees and Legacy Fund
  • Lago Vista Lions donated tractor and time to Debris Cleanup
  • Ed Manigold donated equipment and time on debris cleanup
  • Jim Madigan donated building and storage for donations/garage sales

Since 2013 the Club has continued to grow and expand its activities starting its 1st Golf Tournament fund-raiser in 2014.  On our page you can see most of activities from 2013 onwards.

On July 1 2016 Marble Falls Noon Lions Club merged with us and we changed our name to Spicewood & Highland Lakes Lions Club.  The area we now serve can be seen at the top of every page on this website.
